Here is the next stage on my project Sigma: fit the twin carbies I bought! The new twin carbies are twin Solex carburettors with factory manifold and linkages. I will be using the rare (japanese market only) air-box for when I want the car to look stock, and aftermarket chrome air-filter assemblies for when I want more power and better look.
As part of the transplant, I also fitted a new high quality thermostat (30% more flow than stock) and to my surprise there wasn't much left of the old thermostat as you can see below:
