This has to be by far one of the largest cruise/street/carpark meets any where in the world. With a massive carpark completely full of thousands of cars, they had to turn away even more hundreds of cars. More than a thousand people came to see the cars as well, including a camera crew and presenter from the Australian TV car show "Gasoline" and the Police Highway Patrol was there too to make sure no one did anything silly on the street. It was a perfect night and there was a massive amount of cars there. You could see anything from classic American cars, muscle cars, English, German and Australian cars, and even Japanese cars! There were quite a few Mazda rotaries there, a few Datsuns and even a couple other Sigmas there besides mine! Here are a few photos, sorry about them being dark as my camera's flash isn't that great. Both the Sigma Wagon and the yellow Scorpion below had V8 engines!

GJ Scorpion Wagon...
No that's not a typo and your eyes do not deceive you. These photos are of a GJ Scorpion Wagon, more specifically, a Sigma Wagon fitted with a GJ Scorpion front.
It's an aquired taste, but trust me, if you ever had the pleasure of seeing this beast in the wild (or in a car park in South East Melbourne), you would instantly fall in love with it, like I did!
The wheels are from a Sigma GSR and the interior was also in great condition.

FOR SALE: one owner 1979 Chrysler Scorpion...
Here is a great Ebay find that just came into my inbox: a one owner, all original 1979 Chrysler/Mitsubishi Scorpion.
The car is in almost perfect condition, the only little blemishes being a few small rust spots.
Besides that, the car has been looked after very well. The car seat covers were fitted when the car was new, so the seats were preserved and look like new!
On the outside, the rear window louvre was also fitted when the car was new so that also helped keep the interior looking like new.
The car looks great and has only done 94,365kms!!
This car is for sale very cheap, if you're in the Melbourne area, please save this car and keep a piece of Australian/Japanese history alive! Ebay link: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330636537291

Ebay find: yet another yellow V8 Scorpion...
Here is another yellow V8 Scorpion. But this one is a legend, being around for over 10 years! If you got the cash, grab yourself this very special car! I remember this car at the 2003 Easternats, and it has become even faster now!
As you can see below, this car is now set up as a very serious drag car. It comes without an engine or transmission, but it is set up for a Chevrolet big block V8 engine and powerglide automatic transmission. Image below courtesy of hpheaven.com.au.
The differential is a 9inch with Strange components. It comes with 32x14 M/T slicks, Moroso front runners, 3.5inch Strange tail-shaft.
On the inside you'll find a 10 point Funny Car style roll cage with all alloy tin work, flame proof shrouded wiring, and Auto Meter gauges.
Out the back there are some wheelie-bars, which are necessary as this car can easily handle 1000hp, according to the owner.
Here is the Ebay auction link: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280663853418. You can also find a full feature of this car on the Extreme magazine, issue 77.

And now for the Scorpion fans out there...
Here is the second part of the Galant Sigma Eterna Japanese brochure, the coupe (Scorpion) version.

I'm not too sure I like those seats, they remind me of picnic mats/blankets!

Check out those strange looking tail lights!
