EVL-SIG: a modified Sigma powered by a SOCH Turbo Nissan RB30 engine!
Here's another past feature car from our archives. It's a 1982 GJ Sigma that was powered by a SOCH Turbo Nissan RB30 engine.
The engine is a tight fit and even had a front mount intercooler.
The only time the owner ran this car down the quarter mile, it ran a 15 second time due to lack of traction (it was fitted with it's street 18 inch wheels and tyres).
Inside, the dash has many aftermarket gauges...
... and racing seats!
It turns out that the old CarDomain page for this Sigma is still online! You can find it here.
