Project update: general tidy up and fitting rear lowered spring!

I've been busy over the last few days getting the Sigma ready for the safety inspection so I can then get a historic vehicle permit and special number plates. I had to do a full check myself on the car, replacing any faulty and worn components including a couple of light bulbs. I then proceeded to install the lowered rear springs and new shock absorbers.
The new lowered rear springs are made by King Springs and are only 30cm lower but also a bit stiffer.
You can see on these photos the height and coil thickness difference between the stock spring (black) and the lowered sports spring (yellow). These are to match the front lowered sports springs I had already fitted.
Buying a quality set of lowered springs is much better and safer than chopping/cutting your stock springs. The car now handles like a sports car with no body roll and yet, it's still quite comfortable!
